Are you a camper? Or, does your family want you to be? My idea of roughing it is a limited-service hotel. But, my husband and son have determined this is the year they’ll win me over to being in the great outdoors for longer than just a barbecue.

I’ve done some camping “research” (ok, mainly asking friends and watching shows like Running with Bear Grylls). Still, I’m sharing 4 tips to make camping more tolerable, oops…I mean more enjoyable.

Do you love to travel? It’s a passion of mine to experience new cultures and meet new people. However, getting back to the normal routine when I arrive home can be a challenge – hello jet lag.

There’s actually a medical term for jet lag, it’s called desynchronosis. Airhelp.com defines it this way: It means that your circadian rhythm – your body clock – is out of sync. Your body thinks it’s still in one time zone, but it’s physically somewhere else. So it gets confused, tired and stupid.

Apparently after years of solid research, it was found that “annual physicals did not reduce mortality overall or for specific causes of death from cancer or heart disease.”

I was camping several hours from civilization and fell several feet, and was quite injured. I couldn't get evacuated... At that time, I called the freshbenies Telehealth service.

Although I needed immediate care, the physician was VERY reassuring and he stayed on the phone with me... I eventually got help and his advice was not only excellent, but made me feel safe.
